Additional feeding desk for Junior 36

The additional feeding desk extends the area for manual sheet feeding in the Junior 36 machine and improves operator’s comfort.

Additional on-roll perforator

Additional perforator is positioned directly on the reel. It is used in case of thick foils for more reliable separation of sheets and also in specific cases when the standard method of film cutting before separation cannot be used. 

Additional separation air blowers

Additional separation air blowers which are installed directly on the feeding head assist at reliable feeding of individual sheets of in particular digitally printed matters. These air blowers utilize compressed air from the central distribution circuit, they are fitted with their own throttle valves by means of which the operator can control quantity of air and have also solenoid valve which determines when the air blowers should be activated.

The antistatic bar is a device which discharges static electricity created at friction between the laminated sheet and machine parts. This measure prevents in problems with sheet winding up on snapping roll and in potential damage of the machine. The bar is installed on the separator directly above snapping roll.

Automatic skew wheel

The skew wheel (roller) is a unit installed in the end of the machine behind the snapping rolls which create a wave on the sheet being laminated through roller turning and roller thrust force. Wave creating on the sheet makes separation easier for the snapping rolls.

The action of the automatic skew wheel (roller swinging mounting) when compared with the standard roller fixed mounting used on all laminators consists in the fact that a bar with roller is fitted with a pneumatic cylinder which presses the roller against sheet as required. Use of this option is suitable especially for long sheets where permanent roller pressing could result in formation of folds on the sheet. In case of the automatic skew wheel, the operator defines for how long a wave should be created and from what moment, i.e. when the roller should be pressed against sheet. The roller is pressed before fall of the snapping roll and is lifted immediately after sheet separation. Thanks to the roller swinging mounting, the operator can select from 3 modes:
– the roller pressed permanently (it operates like a fixed roller),
– the roller open permanently (not in use),
– the operator selects a cycle according to the sheet length


Automatic stacker (stacking onto pallet)

We offer the automatic sheet stacker in B1 and B2 size. It is a separate unit which is to be positioned behind the laminator instead of the delivery desk. The machines are ready for the sheet unloading in stacker variant so that they are fitted with a sheet separation detector; i.e. if sheet is not separated, the machine is slowed down and consequently stopped in order to avoid in sheet damage.

Auxiliary piston compressor

We supply the auxiliary piston compressor to the customers who have insufficient supply of local compressed air available.

Embossing modification

Structured lamination (embossing) system in a form of separately supplied embossing rolls is available for the Amiga 52 machine. The required design of the laminated sheets is achieved by replacement of the smooth laminating roll by the embossing roll. Embossing takes place together with laminating in this way.

Film roll lift

The film roll lift is a simple lifting mechanism for easy film reel replacement in the machine. Replacement of even large film reels can be handled only by one person without problems.
Spread roll

Height adjustable spread roll

The distribution roll is positioned between the film unwinding unit and laminating roll and ensures film uniform tensioning before laminating. The roll is designed so that the film web could be tensioned uniformly from the centre towards the edges before sheet laminating.  The distribution roll is height adjustable on the drive side which assists to the operator to achieve perfect adjustment of the roll with respect to the stretched film with resulting perfect laminating free of wrinkles and folds. This design also eliminates potential uneven film reel winding up from the manufacturer.

High pile feeding & delivery for Sagitta 76 (100 cm incl. palette)

The Sagitta 76 machine can be custom-made in the “high” configuration, i.e. with possibility of processing stacks with height of up to 100 cm. However, this option means modification of the complete machine and for that reason, we supply the system for high stack processing only as a custom-made solution. The machine has different parameters and technical connections because of the different feeder and delivery design.

Hot knife

The hot knife is used for separation of sheets in the cases when the standard process cannot be used. The hot knife is heated electrically and sheet separation takes place only after knife pressing by rotational movement of the unit against laminating film. The hot knife assembly includes an ultrasound detector which monitors sheet overlap and if overlap is indicated, a signal to the knife for separation is sent.

In-line embossing module for Sagitta 76

In-line embossing on the Sagitta 76 machine is one of the possibilities of structured lamination (embossing). The embossing module is installed already directly as a part of the machine and is built in between the laminating and snapping units. It allows creating surface design of higher quality on printed matters as the process takes place simultaneously with lamination. The machine will then be fitted with laminating and pressure rolls in the standard laminating unit and also with the other pressure roll together with heated embossing roll inside on the embossing module. The operator can then activate either the first or the other set of rolls as required. It means zero demands for time and physical effort of the customer when changing between jobs from standard lamination to embossing processing and vice versa. We offer this design only for the Sagitta 76 machine currently.


The jogging table is type of the unloading table which is fitted with a vibration motor and ensures better sheet stacking on the table in this way. The jogger is produced in sizes for both B2 and B1 sheets and is available for various machine models either in basic configuration or as an option instead of the fixed delivery desk.

Long sheet separation air blowers

Long sheet separation air blowers which are positioned on both stack sides (both from the control panel and from the drive side) help to separate individual sheets from stack at their feeding by means of the head. The air blowers are supplied from the vacuum pump and are continuously in operation. Air supply into these air blowers opening and closing can be controlled by the operator using a ball valve. This option is suitable for feeding sheets of a maximum size at high speed operation.
Film slitter

On-roll film slitter

Additional film slitter is positioned directly on the reel. It is utilized if a film of the required width is not available. The on-roll film slitter is to be positioned in such position where it trims film directly in the reel to the required size. Use of the slitter unit may affect the speed of job processing (in the same way like e.g. paper weight); actual laminating is usually carried out at a lower speed.

OTF (Optional Toner Foiling)

“Toner Foiling” is a solution for application of film which creates special effects (glossy, colourful or metallic areas) on the digitally printed sheet. The standard laminator is provided also with a winding up unit, a separation bar and a support sheet metal. The substrate film with surface sensitive with respect to toner passes through the machine in the same way as at standard lamination. The surface layer of the film adheres to the sheet areas printed with toner while white (i.e. unprinted) areas remain without effect in case of contact of the film with the processed substrate. The transfer film is wound up on a shaft at process completing.

Plexi magazine for feeding

The auxiliary plexiglass magazine for Junior 36 machine is a small laying away table installed directly to the machine feeder. This auxiliary unit is suitable for the customers who process jobs with repeating processing parameters (sheet size, paper weight, etc.) on the machine. White or other initiating sheets are stored in the magazine and used by the operator for job start and end so as to achieve 100% job processing without any wasted sheet.
Pressure roll

Polyurethane coated pressure roll

The pressure roll with polyurethane surface has higher surface hardness (90 shore) and longer service life. It is suitable in particular for processing of a higher number of jobs with sheets of a higher paper weight – the roll is more resistant to wear.

A set of most frequently wearable parts and the parts technologically demanding for production which are offered for a reduced price. This package can be purchased only together with a new machine.

PSA lamination (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive film))

The standard laminator is fitted with a rewinding unit and an additional bar for PSA film (pressure sensitive adhesive film) lamination. Interleaving paper is removed through the auxiliary bar and wound up on a rewinding shaft before entry in the laminating unit. The machine has to be fitted with a flying or hot knife for separation of such materials.

Sheet preheating

The laminator can be equipped with IR sheet pre-heating system. The infra-red heater is positioned before the laminating roll, i.e. it heats printed sheets before their laminating. Sheet heating before lamination brings good results in particular when laminating digitally printed sheets when toner is activated again by heat and the result of lamination is considerably higher.
For technical reasons, the tilting guiding plates which otherwise are standard parts of the machine must be removed from the machine if pre-heating system is mounted.

Teflon coated pressure roll

Bottom pressure roll made of a non-adhering material is suitable for processing digitally printed materials. Thanks to its surface properties, it avoids unpleasant situations with sheet sticking on the roll and contributes to easier machine maintenance. The teflon pressure roll is installed at final machine assembly instead of a rubber pressure roll as a standard.
We recommend it for laminators intended for laminating digitally printed sheets, i.e. for Junior and Amiga series.

Vibrating knives

The vibration cutting knives represent an option for the system for sheet separation on the Delta 52 machine. Delta 52 machine is equipped only with the built-in perforator in the basic configuration; the vibration knives represent an auxiliary unit of the system for more reliable film slitting between sheets suitable in particular for high speed laminating.
